Magento’s flexible architecture allows integration of multiple payment methods. Payment Express (PX) is one of the payment gateways that most merchants use on their sites. However, the integration of PX in Magento 2 can be quite tricky for new developers.

To make it easier for you, this blog covers all the necessary steps required for fast mode integration and configuration of Payment Express (PX) in your Magento 2 store.

Step 1:

Download PX extension from marketplace URL given below:

https://marketplace.magento.com/px-pxpay2.html

Please note, only extension functionality of “payment express checkout” is covered here.

Step 2:

Now, create developer/sandbox account via undermentioned URL:

https://sec.paymentexpress.com/pxmi3/apply

Please note, the creation of developer account takes a few days. Once created, you shall receive the following information from the support team:

Payline logon URL: https://uat.paymentexpress.com/pxmi/logon

Username: alpha_Dev

Password: b70118765

The “Payline logon” is a panel where all the transactions can be viewed.

PxPayUserId: alpha_Dev

PxPayKey: a111116a41468cd86fd8579e884d8ec11111c0b703225d42c2a6a905fed11111

PxPay Url (sandbox): https://uat.paymentexpress.com/pxaccess/pxpay.aspx

Step 3:

Now, you need to install PX extension. Please note that it is highly important to follow all the M-2 commands for complete installation.

Step 4:

Configure PX from:

Admin → stores → configuration → sales → payment methods → payment express checkout…

Step 5:

This is the final step for testing the flow of Payment Express (PX). It lets you know whether the transaction is successful or failed. You can view the status of the same in session message and under PX log-on panel.
