THE PROBLEM AND THE FOLIO3 SOLUTION

Folio3, given its expertise in AR technology wanted to go a step further and create an engaging in-house app. Inspired by the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone movie, a Snake and Ladder game was conceptualized. The basic idea was to enable the users interact with a virtual snake and ladder board placed within their surrounding: inducing the same feel as the chess game in the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone movie.

Folio3 has been involved in various AR projects that have helped its clients garner international recognition and enabled Folio3 to develop the expertise to undertake such projects independently.

An Android AR game app was built solely by an in-house team consisting of seven players, working part time on the project for about one month and a half.

Given the uniqueness of this interesting game, the team believes that if marketed properly it can generate good business. Furthermore, there are plans in the pipeline to make this real-time app a multiplayer one, enhancing the overall user experience and realising its full potential.
