Folio3 is seeking an ambitious System Engineer to manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities:

• Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization to be in line with company guidelines or SOP (standard operating procedure).
• Install patches and updates on servers while managing tickets on cloud platforms.
• Administer both Windows Server and Linux systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize working knowledge of Linux and networking to enhance system design.
• Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Zabbix , Uptime & NewRelic.
• Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard systems against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Utilize automation tools, including to efficiently manage incidents, problems, and change requests.
• Thoroughly document all work for future reference and remediation purposes.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and support staff.

Requirements:

• Understanding of DevOps tools like BitBucket , GitHub , Docker, etc.
• Hands-on with networking equipment including firewalls, network routers, switches, access points.
• Basic working knowledge of Cloud environments.
• Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, and SSH.
•  Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• 2-3 years of experience is required.
