Folio3 is looking for a professional Software Architect.

Responsibilities:

• Lead system-level specification and/or design creation tasks based on incomplete, contradictory, and/or ambiguous requirements.
• Define the system architecture as it evolves through the software lifecycle.
• Lead a product sustaining effort.
• Able to work effectively with business groups and customers.
• Performs discriminating information analysis, relies on strong engineering judgment, and recognizes project-level factors and business requirements in developing a coherent project vision.
• Provides technical guidance to a team regardless of whether they formally lead it.
• Participates in IPR development for the company that results in patentable ideas or concepts. Is able to quickly leverage technical skills in new areas.

Requirements:

• Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD processes.
• Proficient with JAVA, MEAN/MERN stack. Experience with C/C++ and Python is a plus.
• Experience with designing highly scalable and available solutions.
• Experience with implementations of HAProxy, Nginx, and ZeroMQ is a plus.
