Folio3 is looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer with a demonstrated history of designing and executing resilient IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Design and Management: Design, implement, and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network devices, and cloud resources.
• System Administration: Administer and maintain Windows and Linux-based systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to systems, networks, and applications.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards to protect company data and systems.
• Capacity Planning: Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning to ensure scalability and resource optimization.
• Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data and systems.
• Patch Management: Keep systems and software up-to-date through regular patching and updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of experience in system administration and engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in managing Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and security practices.
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
