Assistant Manager/Manager – Software Sales

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at our offshore software development company. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business by identifying and pursuing potential clients, as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients. The Sales Representative will work closely with our software development team to understand the capabilities and offerings of our company and will be responsible for presenting these to potential clients in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential customers for our software services and platforms.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals resulting from field activity, and the Marketing team.
  • Experienced business development professional, selling AI and Machine Learning services to brands and in general within the Health care, Restaurant, and automobile industries, etc. Would be a plus if the candidate had prior experience in selling staff augmentation and in addition to this also has experience in selling AI/ML solutions like computer vision, NLP, etc.
  • Build a top-of-funnel pipeline by setting introductory meetings with target influencers and key decision-makers.
  • Research and build new and existing accounts through rigorous outbound calling efforts and by creating/executing strategic email and social campaigns.
  • Perform analysis of inbound and outbound prospects’ business and engage with these prospects by phone/zoom meeting, and/or email.
  • Apply effective communication skills, collaborating directly with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, take the initiative to get stuff done, try new things, and amplify your successes by sharing your findings with your team.

Requirements:

  • A passion for technology and software sales and 5+ years of customer-facing experience are preferred.
  • Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external).
  • A sense of urgency and the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • The ability to thrive in a rapidly moving and changing company environment.
  • Resourcefulness and results-driven operating style.
  • Collaborative and coachable mindset.
  • Has a tendency to do more with less and also has bias correction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
