The app was designed for iOS and Android platforms to bring a mobile-first approach to virtual meetings by using mobile and web technology to simplify the attendance and follow-up actions for conference calls, especially participants calling in from remote locations or during travel. The company wanted to increase to the capability of the app by using it as an Apple iWatch app, allowing users to attend calls and view calendar events on the go.

Folio3 developed Meeting Mogul’s call connection platform for clients and partners who regularly participated in multiple conference call meetings through a variety of services and from several locations. This specifically included those who travelled internationally and wanted a seamless service to join various conference bridges from anywhere in the world to avoid the high cost of mobile roaming.

In order to provide that users with the same one-touch conference call capability through its new version of the app, Folio3 custom developed the app for Apple Watch users which already allows its users to call their contacts through the watch. Now besides becoming part of a conference call with one-touch, the users will also be able to see meeting reminders, notify attendees when running late and even review the summary of their daily calls and online meetings on the go.

Folio3 assigned a dedicated development team to work on making Meeting Mogul’s one-touch conference calling capability compatible with Apple Watch. The Apple Watch version of the app allows users to call into a meeting and participate in a conference call without using a mobile device, dial lengthy strings of conferencing-bridge numbers and related codes, talk directly through Apple Watch without the need to connect to a Bluetooth device and take complete advantage of one-touch dialing into conference calls with simple tapping of the app’s icon. Meeting Mogul’s Apple Watch app version requires no set up and a simple installation suffices, allowing the app to easily sync with the user’s device calendar and import scheduled meetings and conference calls while integrating with leading CRM solutions. The app gives users a high level view of the day’s agenda, allowing them to send out pre-composed “running late” email to other invited attendees.
