The company was therefore looking for a reliable technology partner who would provide them with attractive visuals along with the right technology that was both cost efficient and compatible with most platforms.

The dedicated team of Folio3 decided on developing the app in the leading hybrid app framework of Flutter to harness the 3 most powerful development languages to deliver high performance capabilities. The robust features of this framework can easily be ported to any of the major mobile platforms including iOS, Android or Windows, making it a cost effective choice.

Folio3 developed Propel Fuel, a Flutter based cross platform app for iOS and Android platforms that provides the users with locations of nearby fuel stations selling E85 Flex Fuel and diesel HPR as well as updated pricing information. The app has an inbuilt Fuel Price Checker that offers updated pricing information of the fuel in real-time while the Map services gives turn by turn directions to the nearest fuel station providing Propel’s Flex Fuel. Users can also look up vehicle compatibility for E85 Flex Fuel and clean diesel through the app, find information regarding benefits of the performance fuel and visit the Q & A forum for queries.

The Propel Fuel mobile application is compatible with both iOS and Android platforms, and works well on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch technologies. The initial project took around 2 months to develop and Folio3 has been proudly providing information updates, backend updates and bug fixes to the client along with support since 1st July 2014.
